A Midwestern International Trading Company was facing challenges in financing its sales to the African Sub-Saharan market. Due to the unique nature of the infrastructure equipment that was being sold to the African entity, traditional financing sources were not available. ExWorks Capital created a financing program by partnering with the trading company whereas ExWorks provided the necessary capital and purchased the equipment directly through the ExWorks Fund, while the trading company was responsible for maintaining the relationship with the client, the subsequent sourcing of the equipment and effectuating all of the logistics to complete the trade.
“This type of trade is indicative to our commitment to the emerging markets and their infrastructure needs as well as our willingness to support small to middle market exporting companies that cannot access traditional financing sources due to size,” Gerry Paez, Managing Director.
